2. What information we collect

Information you send us. When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive your name, contact details and anything else you choose to tell us about your enquiry.

Basic website data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site secure and working. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this website.

Free local SEO check and report. If you use the free check on our Local SEO Business Audit page, we look up the business and website you enter using public Google data. If you ask for the full report, we also collect your email address, your first name if you give it, and the search term you enter. The report is saved at a private link for 90 days.

Cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

3. How we use your information

For the free local SEO report: to send you the report and keep it available for 90 days (because you asked for it), to see whether the report link has been opened, and to follow up once about the issues it found (our legitimate interest in replying to people who have asked for our help). If you tick the box to receive local SEO tips, we add you to our mailing list (your consent), and you can unsubscribe from any email.

To reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to provide the services you have asked for (performing a contract or taking steps before entering one). To keep this website secure and reliable (our legitimate interest). To keep the business records the law requires (legal obligation).

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers who help us run the business and who act on our instructions, including WhatsApp (Meta), our email and phone providers, Brevo (which sends our emails and holds our mailing list), our automation server, Google (business listing, Maps and page speed data, call bookings through Google Calendar, and our lead records), Cloudflare for hosting, and our accounting software. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may record your IP address when the page loads.

5. International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as the law requires.

6. How long we keep it

Free local SEO reports are deleted 90 days after they are created. Report requests are kept as enquiries (below). If you joined our mailing list, we keep your details until you unsubscribe.

Enquiry details are kept while we are dealing with your enquiry and, if you become a client, for the length of the relationship plus six years. Financial records are kept for six years, as required by UK tax law.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To use any of these rights, email [email protected].

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
